I am running for State Representative in the Ohio 67th district because I don’t like how our state government is being run. Party politics is prioritized over doing what is best for our state. Extreme political agendas and mean-spirited rhetoric have replaced responsible leadership. Hard-working public employees are being scapegoated as the cause of government’s financial woes. Our governor and his legislative allies are trying to provide overly-simplistic answers to very complicated economic problems.
There are no quick and easy solutions, but we must remember that we are all Ohioans, rather than members of divisive political parties. Cooperation among are leaders is essential. Honest deliberation, based on common sense and good intention, needs to replace political party doctrines.
